When you go into the place where you have to jump on the arrow, how do you beat that? On yoshi's island DS

I just can't figure this out!!!! You jump on the arrow and then u go up then go left then theres no other place. Then you go into the room where they have the flower pots and the chairs but you can't get past that either!
