What is a good type of flower to keep as a potted plant that will bloom several times a year?

What is a good type of flower to keep as a potted plant that will bloom several times a year?
The difficulty here, is that most flowering plants only bloom in one season, for one season. That's why African Violets are so popular, they break the rules.



That being said, Phaeleonopsis Orchids sometimes bloom twice a year, spring and fall. They are actually pretty easy to grow, and coax into blooming.
