I am trying to paint a pot, how do I make it appear round?
curve the base and the top and pick the spot where the light would shine on it and make that a little lighter color... look at these...

Reply:Add varying shades of gray to darken the edges as they fade away from view and lighten the part that is supposed to appear closest to you.



You could also curve the bottom edge and the top edge of the pot to make them appear to be rounding off.



I recommend finding a pot and just sit back staring at it for a little while noticing the details (such as the lighter/darker areas and the way the bottom/top edges curve out of sight).
