My plants are dying please help!!?

I have flowers in a flower pot.

The leaves are turning yellow.

What should I do?

My plants are dying please help!!?
Usually when plant leaves start to yellow it is a sign of some sort of water deficiencies, you could be watering too much, too little.. or the soil could be having difficulty draining properly.....
Reply:Check to make sure they aren't part shade or full shade plants and they are in the sun. This will scorch them. If this is the case remove them from the sun immediately. Don't water them until the dirt shows it's drying up. Hope this works for you.
Reply:It depends on the plant, but more often than not yellow is due to water deficiency. This could be that you don't water them properly in the sense that when you water them, the water tries to hydrate the plant too much, and then a few minutes later, the flowers are dry and thirsty. It might be too late for these flowers, depending on how yellow they are, but what you should do is plant flowers in GOOD QUALITY (not the cheap stuff) potting soil or worm castings a.k.a. vermicast. Try to find worm castings, but if you can't find any, use the GOOD potting soil. Both of these are absolutely loaded with nutrients for your plants, and, more importantly, these soils time-release the water and nutrients to the plants. This ensures that your plants get what they need when they need it, rather than being over-watered one minute, and thirsty the next minute. You could try to find these soils at www.1800TOPSOIL.com or call 1-800-TOPSOIL to see if they have someone in your area. They're national landscapers and they're good. Good luck!
Reply:Throw them out, and start fresh. This time make sure to take good care of your plants. Feed them water each day, make sure the soil is rich, and make sure they are in a spot that has tons of sunlight.
Reply:it depends on what type of plants it is. if its rhododendron and it is going yellow that means it need acid soil you can buy some stuff to spray the plants with it and in few days it will turn green . what we did when our plant was going yellow we put little bit of vinegar in the soil and this year it has flowered.
Reply:I would recommend to find out whether or not are the kind of pot flowers that only bloom once. I know of certain daisy-like flower that once they've bloomed, they will die.

If they are not the "only one time" type, give it a try by trimming the plant, so that it can grow again nice and freshly, making sure it has enough water and enough sunlight (the proper amounts to the type of flower it is)
