I have a few flower boxes with plants that I'd like to bring back with me when I return to Buffalo, NY from Ontario, Canada. They are common flowering annuals native to the area.
Can I bring potted flowers when entering USA from Canada via car?
Doubtful. A friend sent some seeds through the mail and they were confiscated and destroyed.
Reply:If it's anything like Calif., no.
Reply:I tried to bring some sand back to the US from Mexico for my granddaughter and they took it away from me, they said it may harbor germs. So, I would say no.
