in the latter 6o's to 70's you could buy them at mood shops. now ther call head shops. the candles were made with loose wax near the center around a small dowl stick that was used as the wick, and it was encased with regular wax on the outside. and the other end of the stick could be stuck in an old flower pot. when burnt the flame would get up to atleast 3or so inches and flicker and seem like a strobe. the last time i bought one was at a mood shop in topeka ks. years ago. i was wondering if they still made them?
Does anyone know where to buy strobe candles?
I've never seen those. You may have to make your own. I know that I have seen the wooden wicks in one of the candle making supply catalogs. Try going to www.ask.com and when prompted type in wooden wicks for candles
