We have them too. They love the heat. Just sprinkle 5% sevins dust over the plant and that should do it. If you have the liquid sevin that will work too. The liquid works best if they are under the leaves. After a rain you will have to retreat if they come back. They live in our soil and emerge when the temp is hot. Ate our fruit and banana trees up one year. That was our first experience with them. We are in GA. m
Reply:Go to your local monopoly....err...I mean Home Depot..... they have powder you can fluff on your flowers that keeps them off of your stuff. I have them all over here..and have to do it every year or they tear the CRAP out of my little tree's. That or get a dog like I've got. He loves eating those Boogers.
Reply:there are traps you can buy at a garden store, they area bad that the beetle can fly into but not out of
Reply:buy them a plane tickt and send them back to Japan!
Reply:Just like the enola gay did back in the 40's.
Reply:THERE'S A TRAP YOU CAN BUY W/LURE THAT ATTRACTS THEM AND THEY CANT GET BACK OUT ... WORKS WELL
