I am going to by the little plastic pots that you need to do this
What compost should i opt for?
A lot of the seeds are really small - should i put a pinch of seeds in each pot??
I have a bunch of various flower seeds that need to be planted indoors first......?
You can use any seed starting potting mix to start seed. It doesn't necessarily need to be compost. If you want to use compost then I would suggest that you mix the compost with peat which is a perfect medium for seed starting. Also,
If you are starting seed indoors then you might consider getting some peat pellets and using those. They are inexpensive and perfect for seed starting in that they are not messy, easy to keep moist, and can be placed directly in the ground or their permanent pots when time is right. You can find peat pellets at any garden center or online. Here is an online source, but I know that Wal-Mart and Lowes carry them every season.

EDIT: as for amount of seeds, just sow two to three seeds per pot or pellet. If all three sprout the just pinch off the weaker looking seedlings leaving only one to grow an flourish.
Reply:compost is compost go for the cheapest.and yes do put one seed to each little pot.in a couple of weeks you should see major results make sure you put them in the sunniest window.
