1 have a peony that buds but will not flower?
Try and make sure the humidity and conditions are correct. Example: My peony was on the kitchen windows sill. I moved it to the bedroom window sill (warmer with less cold air) the buds opened and I got some brilliant photos!
Reply:Mine hasn't flowered yet, but will - got at least 16 to come one one and 12 on another, be patient, I think they do better planted in the ground may need more than just the morning sun, have you got anywhere else you could move it to? Mine didn't flower for the 1st 2 years but do now with very little effort, I just miracle grow them, so nothing special!
Reply:is it too late to stick it in the ground? my peony just blossomed- too quickly, i missed the flowers from bud to death! maybe try feeding it some food? also they seem to take forever, i have waited 4 years for this lol
Reply:Maybe there is a nutrient deficiency.
Reply:Peonies buds are buds for awhile before they bloom.
