How can i grow an orange tree?
Hi, I live in Massachusetts! 12 years ago my daughter and hubby returned from their Florida honeymoon and brought me a sapling no bigger than a pencil.

I now have a three foot by three foot pot with a 4 foot high orange tree in it!

Every winter it sits in the sliding glass door for the Winter Sun. In the spring I drag it onto the deck and fertilize it. In the fall I play "BONSAI" I take it out of the pot, root prune it give it some new potting soil, top prune it WAY back and bring it in for the winter!

My family is very patient with me!
Reply:build a greenhouse
Reply:I would say buy you some seeds and dig em' up in ground and wait 3 months!!!!
Reply:plant it in a large container it will only grow as large as the roots allow and in a container the roots can only spread so far.. if you have a place where you have the room it would be a nice addition and who knows you may get fruit
