Will putting my flowering pot above ground in a little flower pot holder keep certain bugs away? Or am I doomed either way, having the flowers on the ground or up high, they still will be eaten.
Keeping plants safe from bugs?
Most plants will attract insects of some kind. Some are harmless, some are beneficial other are the true meaning of the word PEST! You will need to determine which of these circumstances exist in your own back yard and on your plants. Everyone could have a different problem.
I am a long time gardener, and an avid butterfly gardener, but the very plants that feed and nurture my winged friends and their offspring, also harbor other bugs that are less attractive, but we have all learned to co-habituate!
