Will a flower die if it's roots break off?

i repotted a plant a couple days ago, and the dirt fell when i took it out of it's old pot. there were quite a bit of roots broken off, but it still had a good portion of roots. will it die, or can i salvage it?

Will a flower die if it's roots break off?
what kind is it??

I don't think it should, depending on what kind it was

most of the time when you need to replant something its a good idea to chop off some of the roots if it was really packed in the pot

good luck

and remember to keep it watered
Reply:It should live. When you do cuttings there are no roots. Depend on what kind of plant I suppose
